Product Description
Acetylene (C₂H₂), the indispensable fuel gas for high-temperature and heat-focused processes in industrial production, is a colorless, hydrocarbon compound with a distinctive garlic-like odor. It possesses the highest flame temperature (approximately 3160°C when combined with pure oxygen) and flame speed among all fuel gases. This unique thermal power makes it the absolute standard for metal cutting and welding in heavy industry. At Tinsa Gaz, we provide industrial acetylene gas supply using precise filling methods in our modern facilities under the highest safety and sealing norms.
Key Features
✓Highest flame temperature reaching 3160°C when combined with pure oxygen
✓Porous mass and acetone solution for safe cylinder storage
✓Weight-based filling assurance using precision scales
Usage Areas
Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Metal Cutting
Flame Hardening and Straightening (Annealing)
Glass and Jewelry Processing (Precise flame control)
Supply and Storage Models
1. High-Pressure Acetylene Cylinders
The most critical fuel solution for factories, shipyards, and mobile welding workshops. Due to its chemical properties, storing free acetylene gas under high pressure carries a fatal explosion risk. Therefore, the interior of Acetylene cylinders is filled with a special porous material, and the gas is dissolved in acetone in liquid form. Consequently, Tinsa Gaz sells Acetylene by net weight using digital scales, rather than by pressure.
2. Manifold Cylinder Packs & Pallet Systems (Bundle)
Our Acetylene bundle solutions provide continuous fuel flow for high-intensity oxy-cutting lines, large structural steel workshops, and shipyards. In line with Tinsa Gaz's uncompromising safety policy, all acetylene pallet systems are equipped with flame flashback arrestors and regulator assemblies. Filling and invoicing are based on weight in kilograms.
Safety Standard
Technical Warning and Safety Standard: Acetylene is the most sensitive gas with the highest explosion and combustion risk among industrial gases. Its mixture with air creates an explosive atmosphere over a wide concentration range. Acetylene cylinders must never be stored or used horizontally. If a valve is opened on a horizontal cylinder, liquid acetone solvent may escape instead of gas, causing an immediate explosion risk. All Tinsa Gaz cylinders are protected with check valves and safety mechanisms complying with oxy-gas safety regulations.
