Synthetic air with low moisture and hydrocarbon content in grades 4.0 to 5.0 for FID gas chromatographs, gas analysers and emission measurements.
Product Description
Synthetic air is dry air with very low moisture and hydrocarbon content, obtained by blending high purity nitrogen and oxygen close to the atmospheric ratio. The composition and impurity levels of synthetic air should be checked against its technical specifications before use in detectors or gas analyzers. We supply it in cylinders or bundles according to the grade your analytical method requires.
Key Features
✓Supplied in grades 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 (99.99% – 99.999%)

Usage Areas
Combustion (oxidant) gas for GC instruments with FID detectors
Zero gas and calibration in gas analysers
Emission measurement systems and environmental laboratories
R&D applications requiring hydrocarbon-free air
Supply and Storage Models
1. High-Pressure Cylinders
Supplied in cylinders suitable for high purity gas service, for the daily consumption of laboratories, R&D centres and analytical instruments. The purity grade and cylinder type are defined together according to your needs.
2. Cylinder Bundle Systems
Manifold-connected cylinder bundle systems may be considered for high gas consumption facilities in terms of flow rate, pressure, and cylinder replacement planning. Suitable capacity and backup requirements should be determined for each project.
Safety Standard
Technical Warning and Safety Standard: Synthetic air is a compressed gas. Cylinders must be stored upright, secured and away from heat sources; use only with suitable regulators and keep away from oil or grease.
