Product Description
Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) plays critical roles across industrial manufacturing, food processing, entertainment, and fire safety. Composed of one carbon and two oxygen atoms, it is a colorless and odorless gas that exists as a mixture of liquid and gas phases inside high-pressure cylinders. Therefore, quantity determination is done not by pressure gauges but by weight (kilograms). As Tinsa Gaz, we weigh each cylinder and bundle meticulously on digital scales to supply exact-weight carbon dioxide.
Key Features
✓Precise weight-based filling for weight accuracy
✓Deep penetration shielding in gas-metal arc welding
✓Excellent fire extinguishing property due to oxygen displacement
Usage Areas
MIG/MAG Welding Processes
Fire Extinguishing Systems & Extinguishers
Food & Beverage Industry (Carbonation, MAP, cooling)
Foundries & Chemical Processes (sand molds, pH control)
Supply and Storage Models
1. High-Pressure Carbon Dioxide Cylinders
The most common delivery model for factories, workshops, and general industrial applications. Carbon dioxide in the gas phase accumulated at the top of the cylinder is utilized. All individual CO₂ cylinders filled by Tinsa Gaz are verified on digital scales and sold based on net weight.
2. Manifold Cylinder Packs (Bundle)
Our pallet solutions provide continuous gas flow for high-volume welding lines and large industrial facilities. In line with Tinsa Gaz's quality policy, all pallet systems are delivered based on strict weight verification in kilograms.
3. Siphon Cylinders (Liquid CO₂ for Entertainment & Food)
For applications requiring liquid CO₂ directly instead of gas, Tinsa Gaz offers specialized siphon cylinders. These contain an internal dip tube (siphon) that draws liquid CO₂ from the bottom. Siphon cylinders are vital for dry ice/smoke effects in entertainment, rapid freezing in the food industry, and fire extinguisher refilling stations.
Safety Standard
Technical Warning and Safety Standard: Since carbon dioxide cylinders contain liquid product, it is critical to leave a safety headspace (avoid overfilling). Tinsa Gaz eliminates this risk by using computerized weighing systems. Furthermore, CO₂ is heavier than air; in case of a leak, it accumulates at ground level and poses a suffocation risk. Ventilation at ground level is an essential safety requirement.
